Dr Daugharty is a Board-Certified anesthesiologist and licensed marriage and
family therapist, and professional and addiction counselor. After completing a
master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she opened a practice
serving adult individuals and couples with a diversity of presentations including
navigating contemporary work environments, phase of life transitions, chronic
conflict, anxiety, depression, alcohol use, ADHD, and trauma including impacts of
childhood traumatic experiences. She speaks about the contemporary issues faced
by those in the clinical fields of medicine including moral injury and burnout,
vicarious trauma, and second victim syndrome, with proposed approaches to these
problems of our time. She continues to work part time as an anesthesiologist
covering trauma, general, and obstetrical anesthesia services.
